1. 📋 Plan Early
Start 3–6 months before your move.
Decide on sea vs. air shipment based on budget & urgency.
2. 📦 Estimate Your Volume
Make a list and/or take photos of what you’ll ship.
Request a volume estimate in CBM (cubic meters) from your mover, like me 😊
3. 📝 Get Multiple Quotes
Compare at least 2–3 accredited relocation companies.
Check for hidden charges (like DTHC, customs, surcharges).
4. 🔒 Choose Insurance
Decide between Lump Sum Insurance or Itemized Inventory Insurance.
Always insure valuables – most clients do.
5. 🛂 Prepare Documents
Passport (bio page + Thai immigration stamp)
Visa/work permit (if applicable)
Packing list or valued inventory if you already have
6. 🚚 Book Packing & Pickup
Movers will professionally pack and label items.
If self-packing, note: movers may still need to re-pack for customs compliance and insurance validity
7. ⚓ Customs Clearance
We offer a Customs Lump Sum Fee Option for moves to Thailand to simplify clearance.
Some items (weapons, alcohol, antiques) may face restrictions.
8. 🚢 Shipping & Transit
Sea freight = cheaper, longer (6–10 weeks).
Air freight = faster (1–2 weeks), but expensive.
9. 🏠 Delivery & Unpacking
Destination team delivers to your door.
Unpacking and debris removal (same day) are included.
10. 💳 Payment & Final Checks
Confirm invoice and payment terms
Keep insurance documents handy until everything is settled.
⚡ Pro Tip: Always work with IAM-accredited or FIDI-certified movers to avoid scams and surprise fees.
